Attelier de cuisine/Cookery Workshop Tarrif 749 euros


This is a three night stay which includes breakfast each morning  and dinner on your first night.  If you want to reserve dinner for the remaining two nights please refer to our page on "Menu Suggestions" for details. 


Itinerary:


Tuesday:  

We suggest you arrive at around 14.00 hrs and then we can visit the local Duck Farm to collect your duck and foie.  Then home for your first lesson...

You will be shown how to debone and prepare the duck for the various preparations. This will all be refridgerated to be ready for the next morning's canning. 

Your can have a rest or explore Excideuil whilst I prepare dinner served at 19.30  our Menu Perigordine will be served so you will taste the deights of what you will prepare the next day.


Wednesday:

Breakfast will be served at 8.00

Then you will can your foie gras,  whilst your rilliettes and confit are cooking ready for canning and sterilising.for three hours.  The cans will cool overnight.

A light lunch will be served followed by a visit to the Truffle Museum at Sorges will be your afternoon activity.

 

Thursday:

Breakfast will be served at 8.00  following which you will visit the local Excideuil market  let us reserve lunch for you at one of the local restaurants. 

afternoon visit to the  Museum of Foie Gras at Thiviers (17 minutes away) 


Friday:

Breakfast will be served at 8.00 

Time to pack for departure at 10.00.  Your prepared, canned, labelled  goods will be ready for you to go.


Then its up to you to impress your friends and family...
